No problem, Linda, it's up to you, and every individual,as to whether you want to show your disapproval of Darren's stance.
that said, if you just make a totally non personal comment (like "I think it's important that the democratic process is kept in place") any attack will reflect on him, not the writer.
I will, but I am gathering some evidence of his postings that I want to use. Currently exceptionally busy with October end accounts deadlines and most of tomorrow, so maybe at the weekend.......

Well things have moved on a bit.
He has now admitted that his post was just a wind up...clearly he wanted me to say something against the committee and then allow the bullies to attack me.
I think most of us are pretty fed up with this committee who remain in control simply by the protection offered by the other forum.
It is unbelievable that we are being represented by a group who are a) totally incompetent and b) represent the views of a tiny minority.
Well for what it's worth I have posted my views..... Was going to do it earlier but I have had the grand kids all day so just found time......

Sadly Darren does not understand the difference between criticism and abuse.
Clearly he had also forgotten the appalling abuse he has dished out to previous committees.
Also, Christine, we've just got back from the best concert we have ever been to, 10CC.

Darren is an idiot and so are his followers. I would love to say something Mick but as far as I am concerned the committee don't exist so I am not taking any notice of what that plonker says anymore.
I'm surprised he's still alive with all his ailments!
Poor Darren.
He seems to get the most terrible illnesses which always seems to occur when he is called upon to actually DO something productive.
He has in the past suffered horribly with "Newsletter flu".....now it seems its "election ear".
Clearly he needs a period of undiluted "Resco bashing" to help him recuperate. It's such a shame.
Can we put him forward for the "Chairman of Courage" award ?
His ailments haven't stopped him attacking anyone who disagrees with him, all year! - screeds of drivel posted on the other forum when anyone asked a question that he didn't like. He certainly wasn't 'preoccupied' then.
What has been very noticeable is the total lack of support he has had on the BB since his first very facetious response to me about the elections.
Mike Camilleri was very quick to pull him up on his response and no-one else has offered any support other than Andy and Deb (enough said !)
Is it perhaps too much to suggest that the blind followers of this committee are at last realising that this committee would struggle to run a bath, let alone an election ?
The thought that this lot could control a tendering exercise really does fill me with horror. It would be a massive task for a project team experienced in tendering/procurement. The process is way,way beyond the competence or even the understanding of this committee.
I noticed that too Mick. I guess Hogan must be away at the moment, lol. Can't think of any other reason why he would miss the opportunity to jump in as well.
I sincerely hope you're right although we heard praise heaped on Sandie and the way the AGM went while we were at TBV. Yes, the mind boggles, but I think it is perhaps just Darren and his outrageous behaviour on the forum that people are getting tired of.
I wish I had access to that forum, I removed myself some time ago because of the attacks on people and arguing. I did however ask to be reinstated on several occasions last year, but it never happened. I would of gladly supported you mick x
